Friday Night Shootout:

Cassat’s Batt Bowl’s weekly Friday Night Summer Shootout will continue each Friday evening, except July 4th, through August 15, 2008 before the Season Ending Championship Tournament on August 22, 2008. Check-in time will be 6:15 p.m. and bowling will begin a 7 p.m. The entry fee will be $35 per week with 3 games of qualifying with the top eight bowlers who will advance to bowl one game match play. Winners will continue match play until a weekly champion is crowned. Each week the 1st place prize will be $300 based on 24 entries. Handicap for this tournament will be 90% of 220, base on 2006-07 yearbook or current average, whichever is higher. If a bowler has neither they must bowl scratch. Payout will be one for six. The top 24 point leaders will be invited to bowl in the Season Ending Championship Tournament at the end of summer. If a qualifier opts not to bowl, it will go to the next bowler on the point list. Point distribution will be 2 points for every game bowled and 1 point for each $100.00 won or part of thereof. Tournament director has the right to re-rate or refuse any entry and will settle any discrepancies. For more information contact Cassat’s Batt Bowl, 1838 Cassat Av.
